This weekend, the Women’s Varsity Soccer Team went to Hug High School in Reno, and brought home the Nevada State Championship. The final score of the last game was 1-0 with the Crusaders beating Coronado. With a season nearly perfect on paper (22-0-1) and the unity of the skilled teammates, Faith Lutheran was unstoppable. The Review Journal shines a spotlight on Amelia McManus, who ended the season with 29 goals and seven assists which was critical to the wins of the Crusaders.
