On November 1 the Faith Lutheran Crusaders varsity football team played the Palo Verde Panthers. The game took place away at Palo Verde High School. Fans came bundled up with the 50-degree weather and wind in full effect. The Palo Panthers were up by at least 20 for the first half of the game. The crusaders came back in the third quarter having the score 41 to 14. The fourth quarter got very heated with the Crusaders stepping up with the defense and offense. The final score was Panthers 55 and Crusader 35. Riley Schwartz
scored two touchdowns and completed 11 out of 28 passes. The Crusaders are still heading to playoffs in two weeks. Make sure you come to the home game on Friday, November 8 for senior night against Bonanza High School.
