Faith Lutheran to house national tournament

Faith Lutheran is possibly the only high school in Las Vegas to have a professional courtroom.

Faith Lutheran High School is hosting the first ever National Mock Trial Tournament that is not led by the State Bar. Faith Lutheran’s Mock Trial coach, Ms. Jocelyn Uy, is leading the tournament.

The tournament will be held from August 23 to August 24 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, in Las Vegas. On both days, rounds will run from around 8:45am to 5:00pm. Only spectators related to the teams competing can watch the rounds.

Some of the top teams in the country will be competing in this tournament such as American Heritage, Central Carolina, and Creekview. Faith Lutheran High School is also submitting a team of their own.
