Is Bonnie Screams the scariest place in Las Vegas?

After visiting Bonnie Screams this weekend, and overall having a different experience than previous visits, I realize Bonnie Screams has changed, and you may want to know what has change. Between less haunted houses and a seemingly real ghost town due to lack of staff, it was not as scary as previous years. The haunted houses they did have were quite well organized and laid out, and they would be scary for some people.

The decorations were good, and the atmosphere was overall fairly eerie. With a few staff wandering the area dressed as different scary characters, you are being scared sometimes even when you aren’t in a haunted house. Some even let you take pictures with them. The best part of the night was probably the fire performer who comes out at 8pm and dances around and swinging rods covered in fire.

Food and drinks are quite expensive, but are worth it if you don’t eat before. There is a real restaurant just outside the town that was very good, and also a buffet style eating area inside the ghost town. Both serve burgers and hot dogs, with the restaurant having appetizers and sides of all kinds. But if hearing country music karaoke isn’t your thing, you may want to eat somewhere else.

Overall, Bonnie Screams is a 7/10, with good haunted houses, a decent atmosphere, and good but pricey food.
